Due to new government policies, buyers importing items into the US that are valued over $800 may be charged additional tariffs and fees, also known as duties, after checkout. Tariffs are based on the country where the purchased item was manufactured (“Country of Origin”)––not where it’s shipped from––and are typically calculated as a percentage of the total price.
Please note that as of May 2, 2025, goods of any value manufactured in China or Hong Kong will be subject to duties.
Sellers
Beginning May 2, 2025, sellers are responsible for providing an accurate Country of Origin for all new and existing listings. Failing to provide, or providing false Country of Origin details, can lead to shipping delays, fines or returned packages. Sellers may not be eligible for Grailed Labels and be required to provide a full refund, including the applicable duties, if they fail to provide accurate Country of Origin information.
Buyers
Shipments imported into the US may be subject to duties depending on the Country of Origin of the item being shipped and the total shipment price after checkout. Payment for all applicable duties and taxes is the responsibility of the buyer. Grailed may not be able to provide an estimated amount of such duties at the time of checkout due to the quickly changing tariff regulations. As a buyer, be prepared for shipping carriers to reach out for payment of duties or to share additional personal information, such as your Social Security Number.
Except as otherwise provided by Grailed Purchase Protection, all items on Grailed are final sale and purchases may not be cancelled or returned as a result of applicable duties and taxes.
