Grailed Labels are a pre-paid shipping label service that are used for eligible listings shipping within the US and Puerto Rico, as well as listings shipping to the US from Canada that are priced under $750 and weighing under 20 pounds. Grailed Labels makes it faster, easier and more predictable for eligible sellers to ship to US buyers. Sellers outside of the US/Canada purchase their own label and ship with the carrier of their choice.
Here’s how it works:
- Buyers pay for the label: US buyers now take on the cost of shipping, saving sellers on out-of-pocket costs. The pre-paid label is instantly available once an item sells.
- Sellers save time and effort: No more measuring or weighing items, dealing with addresses, figuring out insurance or manually adding tracking. All of this is handled automatically.
- Ship it and forget it: You’re done once the package is scanned by the carrier. Our Support Team will jump in and work with the buyer if anything goes wrong. Just reach out and we’ll handle the rest.

For Sellers
How do I use Grailed Labels?
1. Create or edit a listing
Create a new listing under the Sell tab, or edit an existing listing by navigating directly to the listing you’d like to update.
2. Enter shipping details
Select which address you’re shipping from. All of your saved addresses can be found in your Settings.
3. Print your label
Once you’ve made a qualifying sale, a Grailed Label will automatically generate in your Order Details page. Print the label from that page in either standard or thermal printer format. Tracking will instantly be added to the qualifying transactions and automatically sent to your buyer. This saves you time when managing communication with the buyer.
4. Ship your item
Based on the size of your package, you will need to ship from either USPS, UPS or Canada Post (if located in Canada). Be sure to check your label for which carrier you need to ship from.
Please note - do not ship your sale in a reused package containing a hazmat label. This may incur additional fees and/or delays.
If there are issues during transit, our Support Team will handle them directly with the carrier.
How is my Grailed Label paid for?
Shipping to the US with a Grailed Label is free for eligible sellers. Buyers pay for the cost of shipping with their order, so there are no out-of-pocket costs for sellers. This cost will appear as a separate line item at checkout for buyers when using the Purchase option or when submitting a binding offer.
How can I offer free shipping?
Sellers can choose to offer buyers free standard ground shipping with Grailed Labels. In this instance, sellers agree to take on the cost of shipping the item.
To offer free shipping, simply opt for Free Shipping when publishing a new item. Change your mind? You can easily edit a live listing to opt an item in or out of free shipping. The cost of shipping to you will be calculated at the time of sale and will be deducted from your payment. Shipping costs may change depending on the most up-to-date carrier rates.
Free shipping only applies to purchases with standard ground shipping. If you offer Expedited Delivery, buyers will be responsible for the full Expedited Delivery label cost.
Is my package insured?
You do not need to worry about insuring your packages shipped with Grailed Labels. In the event of a missing package, our Support Team will work directly with the buyer and the carrier to investigate the issue.
Can I add signature confirmation to my Grailed Label?
Signature confirmation is automatically added to all qualifying listings shipping to the US with Grailed Labels over $750. If this applies to your order, an additional $4 fee will be added to the overall shipping price charged to the buyer. However, if you are providing free shipping for your buyer, you will be responsible for the additional $4 signature confirmation fee. At this time, you do not have the option to purchase signature confirmation if your listing is priced below the threshold.
For listings shipping from Canada to the US, as Grailed Labels are only available for listings that are priced under $750 and weighing under 20 pounds, for all Canada-to-US listings shipping over $750 or weighing 20 pounds or more, you will need to purchase your own label and ship with the carrier of your choice. In this case, you can add signature confirmation as a requirement with your selected carrier.
What if I don’t have a printer?
For Grailed Labels shipping via USPS, you can get a QR code instead of choosing to print your label at home. You can bring this QR code along with your package to a USPS location where they will be able to print and ship your item at no additional cost.
Can I use my thermal printer with Grailed Labels?
Yes. In your seller settings, you can select your shipping label preferences. This will allow you to choose whether you would like to print your Grailed Label in standard 8.5” x 11” dimension or your thermal printers’ preferred 4” x 6” dimension.
All Grailed Labels printed will be formatted based on your account’s selected Shipping Label Preferences.
Do I need to use official carrier shipping supplies?
You may use whichever shipping supplies that you'd like, being sure to stay within size and weight limitations based on your Grailed Label. Ship as you would normally.
Can I ship internationally with Grailed Labels?
Grailed Labels are only available for US and Puerto Rico domestic shipping at this time as well as select eligible transactions shipping from Canada to the US. When shipping internationally with Grailed Labels, customs forms are automatically filled out and added to your label. If you are eligible to ship from Canada to the US, you will receive outreach from Grailed with instructions.
Can I use a different shipping service?
Grailed Labels use USPS, UPS and Canada Post depending on the size of the package and shipping location. However, if you are shipping an XL item weighing 20 pounds or more, please contact us. You will need to purchase your own label and ship with a carrier of your choice. You must upload valid tracking to your listing within seven calendar days of purchase when shipping an XL package.
Can I choose the delivery speed with Grailed Labels?
Eligible US sellers can now choose to offer faster delivery options (Expedited Delivery) with Grailed Labels. In this instance, US buyers located within the 48 contiguous states can select carrier 3-day ground or carrier next-day air delivery in addition to standard ground delivery via UPS at checkout. Delivery times are calculated from when the seller ships the item.
To offer faster delivery options on their listings, eligible sellers may simply turn on Expedited Delivery in their Settings. You cannot opt into or out of Expedited Delivery on individual listings, and Expedited Delivery options are not available while in Vacation Mode.
Canadian sellers cannot yet choose their delivery speed, however we hope to offer this option in the future.
My buyer selected the wrong delivery address. What should I do?
If you have not yet shipped the item, you’ll need to refund the buyer in full for their purchase so that they can repurchase with the correct address. Once you have refunded the buyer, reach out to our Support Team for assistance with relisting your item.
I selected the wrong return address. Can I change it?
Not a problem! If you need to adjust your return address, simply open your listing and select Edit, scroll down to your shipping details, then adjust your address as needed. Please note that P.O. boxes cannot be used as a return address.
If your item has sold, you will need to refund your buyer in full for their purchase so that they can repurchase with the corrected return address. Reach out to our Support Team for additional assistance with re-listing your item for sale. Once it has been re-listed and your return address has been adjusted, your buyer can repurchase the item.
I’m trying to view and print my Grailed Label but it won’t load. What should I do?
If your Grailed Label has been generated but you are unable to view it, please reach out to our Support Team for further assistance.
My Grailed Label hasn’t been sent to me yet. What should I do?
Your Grailed Label could take a few minutes to generate. If your label hasn’t generated within 1 hour, please reach out to our Support Team for further assistance.
My package was Returned to Sender and I haven't received it, what can I do?
Please contact our Support Team for assistance if your package was verified for delivery by the courier but you have not received it.
In cases where a return address was not specified on the original package, our Support Team will proactively reach out to the email address associated with your account to update your address and coordinate the return.
Can I opt out of Grailed Labels?
In an effort to standardize and simplify the shipping experience for buyers and sellers, all US-to-US (including Puerto Rico) transactions will be required to use Grailed Labels. Select sellers shipping from Canada are also required to use Grailed Labels when shipping eligible listings to the US.
For Buyers
Can I choose my delivery speed?
US buyers located within the lower 48 contiguous states can choose the delivery speed of their purchase with Grailed Labels.
If the seller offers faster delivery options (Expedited Delivery) with Grailed Labels, you can select carrier 3-day ground or carrier next-day air delivery for an additional charge at checkout. Delivery times are calculated from when the seller ships the item.
Canadian users cannot yet choose their own delivery speed, however we hope to offer this option in the future.
When can I expect my package to arrive with Grailed Labels?
For standard delivery options, buyers can expect to receive their packages within 2-5 business days from the day the seller ships the item via either UPS or USPS with Grailed Labels. Sellers offering standard delivery options are given a 7 business day processing time to prepare and ship your standard delivery order with the carrier.
If the seller offers faster delivery options (Expedited Delivery), you can select carrier 3-day ground or carrier next-day air delivery options from the day the seller ships the item for an additional charge at checkout.
*Please note that the delivery time frame is calculated from when the seller drops off their package with the carrier. Sellers offering Expedited Delivery are afforded a 2 business day processing time to prepare and ship your Expedited Delivery order with the carrier, which is not included in the carrier next-day delivery or 3-day delivery timeframe.
