Vacation Mode is a feature for sellers which allows them to take a break when they’re traveling or otherwise temporarily unable to manage their Grailed account. When Vacation Mode is turned on their listings still remain available for purchase. You can continue to message users and use the site as usual.
How do I benefit from Vacation Mode?
As a buyer, Vacation Mode lets you know that a seller is away, that the shipping of your purchase will be delayed, and when the seller is expected to return. One reason we launched Vacation Mode is because we know that feeling when you find exactly what you’ve been looking for…and you don’t want to risk losing it to someone else. With Vacation Mode, you can purchase the item you want the moment you find it and know ahead of time that responses and shipping may be delayed.
What if I changed my mind after buying from a seller in Vacation Mode?
Items listed by sellers in Vacation Mode are listings that the seller is currently unable to ship and will be shipped after the designated end date shown in the listing.
If you purchase a listing from a seller in Vacation Mode, please be patient with the seller as they are likely not as active until the end-date you agreed upon when purchasing. The seller is not obligated to cancel the transaction before their end date, but you are free to request the seller to do so.
If the seller has not gotten back to you or has not accepted your request to cancel, you will receive a notification from Grailed and can expect an update from the seller after their Vacation Mode end-date.
Vacation Mode listings are only eligible for a refund once 7 calendar days have passed from the end-date the seller has set.
My seller is currently in Vacation Mode, and is not responding – what do I do?
Don’t worry! The seller is away from their account for now but has stated they will provide tracking for your purchase within 7 calendar days of their Vacation Mode end-date.
We will notify you when your seller has returned, at which point you can expect to receive tracking information.
My seller has returned from Vacation Mode, and is not responding — what do I do?
Please contact us and we will ensure you either receive the item or your money back. The order will be automatically canceled if the seller fails to ship and provide tracking for any listing sold while they were on Vacation Mode within 7 calendar days of the end date of their Vacation Mode.
