Account Health

Account Health gives sellers a snapshot of how their activity measures up against Grailed's community standards. It's designed to help you understand where you stand, identify opportunities for improvement and keep your selling experience running smoothly.

How Account Health Works

Your overall Account Health score is calculated from two components: Order Success and Policy Standing. Together, these reflect the quality and reliability of your selling activity over the last 90 days.
 

Your account will be categorized as one of the following statuses:

• Excellent – your account is exceeding community standards. You are crushing it
• Good – your account meets community standards. Keep up the good work
• At Risk –  your account is struggling to meet standards on at least one important metric. See the tips to improve.
• Restricted – your account is falling well short of community standards. Take actions to course correct.

Order Success

Order Success measures how many of your sales are successfully completed. A high refund rate usually signals that something in the selling process needs attention. Here are some common ways that could help lower your refunds:

• Make sure your listing details are accurate. Condition, size, and measurements should all be correct and complete — what a buyer sees in the listing is what they should receive.
• Remove items you can no longer sell. If something is no longer available, take the listing down.
• Keep shipping costs and shippable regions current. Outdated shipping info creates friction and disputes.
• Ship on time. Confirm and ship orders promptly after purchase.
• Price with fees in mind. Factor in Grailed's fees before setting prices or accepting offers to minimize surprises that lead to cancellations.
• Respond to buyers promptly. Quick, clear communication prevents most issues from escalating.

Policy Standing

Policy Standing reflects how well your account aligns with Grailed’s community standards. If there are active issues on your account, this metric will flag them. For a full breakdown of what constitutes a violation and how violations are handled, see our Code of Conduct article.

To stay in good standing:

• Keep all communication and transactions on Grailed. Communicating off platform makes it difficult for Grailed to assist when there are issues with transactions. Taking sales off platform violates our policies. 
• Don't share contact information or direct users to other platforms. This can be seen as an attempt to circumvent Grailed policies, fees, and protections
• Treat other users with respect. Grailed is a community. How you engage with other users matters.

Why It Matters

Your Account Health score directly impacts your listing visibility on Grailed.
 

Better Visibility If your standing is Good or Excellent, your listings will be prioritized in search results, the home feed, and curated collections — meaning more potential buyers may see your items.
 

Reduced Visibility If your standing is At Risk or Restricted, your listings may be deprioritized in those same surfaces compared to sellers in good standing.
 

Beyond visibility, maintaining strong Account Health helps you avoid account restrictions and build trust with the Grailed community.
